25 July 1835
25th July 1835 marks the end of the conventual life of Francisco Palau. Some religious were led to the castle of Montjuich while others to the fortress of Ciudadela…and they will not resume their community life.
He lived the rules and constitutions of the reformed Carmel for only three years but
the young professed assimilated perfectly the spirit shown through the dangerous circumstances which confronted his life… (Positio p. 51).
