Bicentenary

22 October 1864                                        


My dear friend: We are again in the countryside as we enter the winter season. I, with Fr. Ramón Ferrer, have started a mission around Barcelona. On 22nd October, we began in Hospitalet and on the 23rd in the afternoon we were privileged to hear a talk in Catalan on the inauguration of the mission, given with doctrinal profundity, by our very zealous Bishop.
