Bicentenary

Sunday IV Sunday of Advent, 18 December 1864
The scene where Fr. Palau contemplates the mystery of the Eucharist is the altar. He persuasively affirms: I could no longer see and contemplate the Son of God under any other figure or idea, but that of Head... to the holy Body of his Church. Fullness is never lacking: In my doubts - he confides to us - I look for support in the Sacred Scriptures and in the teachings of the holy Fathers and Doctors of the Church.
