Palau coordinates and accompanies the journey of his daughters in the daily mission. He does so in a singular way and in significant moments. It is worth mentioning his assistance -together with the sisters - to those infected by the deadly epidemic in Calasanz. This was the last service he did. Most probably such contagion was the cause of his death a few days later.

Divested of everything, Palau was not destabilized but rather was consolidated in it. He is strong and is strengthened in difficulty. He is being “re-made”. Indeed, the life he receives has overcome the last setback, offsetting the risk: increasing and dignifying the fighter. Thus, he journeys well despite having left much life along the way: persons, opportunities, projects, dreams and illusions...the tempest – assumed with evangelical spirit – suppresses all disturbances and brings us closer to God.
