To Gabriel Brunet, in Barcelona
He exposes to us a situation which is not pleasing. His strength fails him and he perceives the opposition of two brothers in whom he has entrusted responsibilities. The word of Palau in this missive is understanding but at the same time corrective, firm and admonishing: I kept quiet, tolerated, prayed…and hope that the tempest will pass. You have not to fear of your defects but of the pride that impede the humility to confess them.
