El Ermitaño published a protest document of the Catholics of Lima for the seizure of the papal states, for the harrassment and imprisonment of the Pope, for the fake referendum of the government against him. Finally, the newspaper, appreciates the courage of the people and takes it as reference in defense of the Church, stating: Meditate on it carefully and find what your conscience dictates to you.
