Sta. Cruz. The night at the peak of the mountain.
The Church being identified with the people causes deep impression in the spirit of Fr Palau. He contemplates her. He recognizes the Eucharist as the head. Christ made bread and wine to nourish his own. Palau adores it. At consecration he feels steward of this treasure...but asks help for his doubts. The Beloved confirms him. "The people are united to this Head resting on your breast and they are my body."
