To Rev. Fr. Juan Palau y  Soler, Capitulary Vicar of Barcelona.

The Vicar has committed the arbitrary of removing all kinds of ministerial license to Palau.  Fr Palau faces the charge honestly and courageously. The stumbling block is his services to the indigents. A matter which the vicar disagrees. The penalty for a non existing damage has fallen on Palau. Thus he does not accept to be publicly dishonoured. What does he propose? To settle the issue since no one will benefit of it.
