To Juana Gratias in Ciudadela.
The content of the letter contains the vocational path of his family. Juana was formed for the contemplative life and now, Fr. Palau asks her to launch herself to active life, giving a qualitative force which he has carried out in a progressive way. Being aware of the suffering it does upon her, he alleviates her saying: My daughter, I cannot follow any other way but the one that is already opened by providence...Perfection lies in the fulfillment of the two precepts of love.
