Some virtues are for beginners and others for the integrated - says Palau.
The degree of perfection of virtues in a person is one of the circumstances which in their practice must be considered both by the masters who teach them and by the pupils who are learning them. the subject should take into account his state, office and strength; if he does not do this, he exposes himself to commit excesses. Palau shows himself to be a master in this line.
