The Director announced a Holiday in “El Ancora”, on Saturday, 2nd October 1852, as follows:
“Tomorrow the School cancels the conference as the Parish of Saint Augustine is holding the functions of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary in respect to its illustrious Patroness, the Virgin Mary. The students of the School will join the faithful confreres of the Holy Rosary to give honour to the Mother of God on that solemn day. They will participate in the general communion, which will be held at 7:30 o’clock in the morning and the procession in the afternoon.
