Es Cubells To the Queen: Madrid
From his prison in Ibiza, Palau address a letter to the Queen to ask her to end his confinement. He enumerates the reasons of accusations against him: Madame, this prison …is honourable, since it is an honour for him to suffer for the sake of God’s holy name ... and if he had nothing else in view than God’s glory and honour, he would suffer them in in silence and with joy until death. But he has to fight against such injustice.
